Congratulations to Mataya Spaidal, the other recipient of the 2024 Tri-City Field Hockey Bursary! In her Grade 12 year, Mataya played in the junior spring league, the women’s fall league, coached a team and umpired for the club. Mataya, thank you for everything you have done for the Tri-City Eagles!!

Established in 2001, the Tri-City Eagles Field Hockey Association continues to provide competitive and recreational opportunities for participants at all ages. The game of field hockey is played widely in over 100 countries and is the second most popular team sport in the world. It is now a favourite spectator sport of roughly 2 billion fans worldwide.
